Q200 R Power Wheelchair

Ultra-compact RWD power wheelchair with super-tight indoor maneuverability and ZERO compromise on outdoor stability and performance.

The Q200 R is the next level power wheelchair perfect for outdoor use, while still providing a great indoor solution.

The QUICKIE Q200 R rear-wheel drive power wheelchair was developed using an innovative testing method called SMART base technology. This helped us to understand how geometry changes to a drive base can affect performance, creating a precision-measured TRUE indoor/outdoor powerchair. With the help of SMART base development, the Q200 R powerchair boasts a small footprint of 22.8" wide and 42" long with a 18.3" turning radius, so navigating even the tightest of spaces is a breeze.

Going out? The Q200 R provides great stability to prevent tipping and is ideal for the taller and larger user, with a maximum user weight of 300 lbs. Using the Q200 R is no uphill struggle; with its larger caster wheels, it can tackle any open-air terrain. The Q200 R provides excellent outdoor performance as it easily maneuvers through uneven and hilly territory with the ability to tackle hills of up to 8°. Unbelievably light at 216 lbs. with a fold-down back, the Q200 R is also easy to hoist in and out of vehicles.

SMART base technology

All indoor/outdoor power wheelchairs face the same problem... we solved it with SMART base technology.

Our vision was to create a TRUE indoor/outdoor powerchair with super-tight indoor maneuverability and no compromises on outdoor stability and performance. But how do you design such a finely-balanced powerchair?

A large drive base means difficulty when maneuvering in tight environments. Too small, and it becomes tippy with a loss of traction. With SMART base technology, we were able to test hundreds of configurations to find the perfect combination.

The result is the QUICKIE Q200 R. A legitimately compact power wheelchair that delivers the very best traction, stability, and even the ability to climb curbs of up to 3".

QUICKIE Motor Technology

Our robust motor technology can't be easily duplicated anywhere else. That's because we've spent years working closely with our manufacturer to develop a longer-lasting, highly efficient motor with improved performance, drivability, and range.

Engineered for optimal driving performance

Quickie Motor Technology

We know that more time is spent maneuvering around a home and workplace versus traveling long distances. That's why we've designed our motors to give you the control you need in small spaces without sacrificing the power you want to tackle obstacles. Plus, you'll be able to drive 10% further on the same battery capacity. Similar to a car driving on the highway versus in the city, don't sacrifice performance in places where it's needed the most.

Reduced thermal rollback

Cooling fins

The larger fins found on our motors aren't just a stylish design feature. Larger cooling fins enable heat to escape more effectively, reducing your risk of thermal rollback so you can drive 15% further and faster when combined with the additional boost, even when on an incline or faced with uneven surfaces.

Equipped with 10 seconds of power boost

Power Boost

Overcoming obstacles like steeper inclines and even door jambs gets easier with our controller and motor combination. These two systems work together to provide you with an additional 10 seconds of boost for that extra power whenever you need it.

Designed to last

Metal gears

Unlike some of our competitors, QUICKIE motors feature metal gears instead of plastic. Polished for low noise and high efficiency, our all-metal gears exceed expectations in tough conditions. We go the extra step in polishing those gears because we believe that a little extra effort goes a long way in creating a better ride.

QUICKIE Motor Technology continually exceeds rigorous testing standards. With a proven 99% success rate, your ride will be unlike any other. The Q200 R's 2-pole motors generate 15% more power than previous generations.

The small power wheelchair that's BIG on getting out and about

Heading out? The Q200 R is just as at home outdoors as it is indoors. Painstakingly researched, its compact dimensions provide surprisingly stable traction over a variety of terrains, hills, and even when tackling curbs. With a length of 42", 22.8" width, and sporting 14” (or 12") drive wheels & 9” casters, the Q200 R provides great stability and traction. Its rugged exterior and muscle comes in handy when driving over uneven terrain.

  • The Q200 R powerchair weighs a trim 216 lbs., so it can be hoisted in and out of vehicles with ease. Worried about space? With a fold-down back and removable legrests/armrests, it'll fit snugly in most cars or nicely store away at home.

  • The Q200 R provides great traction when driving up ramps because the chair weight shifts towards the rear drive wheels. When traveling outside at higher speeds, the Q200 R tracks straight so you are in complete control. With 9" front casters, driving over obstacles like 3" curbs is not a challenge.

  • Indoor/outdoor power wheelchairs don't traditionally cope well with steep gradients - a problem we solved with SMART base technology. Precision testing determined that a 32" base length on the Q200 R provides the best stability to prevent tipping and keep the driver safe - even when traveling up 8° inclines.

SMART base technology helped to calculate not only the dimensions for a compact base, but also the ideal seated position for maximizing traction between the drive wheel and the ground. Combined with the Q200 R's drive wheel suspension, it enables the kind of safe, smooth, and responsive ride that's normally associated with a larger powerchair.

  • Primed for public transport, the intuitive Q200 R power wheelchair is so compact and maneuverable that getting on and off trams, buses, and trains is a breeze. Prefer to travel by car? The Q200 R can be compactly stored in the trunk or used as a seat while travelling.

  • Powered by punchy Group 22 batteries, the Q200 R electric wheelchair loves a spin around town, long city trips, as well as tackling more challenging or hilly terrain. With the stamina to go up to 15.5 miles on a single charge, you'll have plenty of time to make detours for other adventures along the way.
