Using the Empulse R90 with maximum speed settings higher than 6 kph (3.7 mph) is only permitted on public roads in certain countries and otherwise may only be used on private property.

In the absence of approval (attached to the Order Form and must be signed before ordering), in accordance with the road traffic laws, the Empulse R90 with speed >6 kph may not be driven on public roads, bicycle-lanes, and pavements. You need to inform yourself about the country-specific legislation regarding usage and it is your legal obligation to ensure the Empulse R90 speed can be set up higher than 6 kph. When you're traveling with your Empulse R90, always check the specific legislation in the respective country.

The patent-pending V-LOCK^™ is a tapered latch that securely docks the Empulse R90 to the receiver on the wheelchair. Combined with the ergonomic & easy-to-grasp handle, upright orientation, and rolling tire, the Empulse R90 can be attached easily and securely. For some, this can be done while seated in their wheelchair.

Store the battery in a dry, cool place at around 50° F (10° C) to 77° F (25° C). It is recommended to keep the battery at a state of charge of approximately 75%. If it is stored for too long with low charge, the voltage inside drops significantly and a deep discharge can occur, which could permanently damage the battery. Therefore, charge the battery every 12 weeks when stored.

Charging the R90 device could take 1 hour for the Standard battery (2.5Ah) and 2 hours for the extended battery (5Ah).
