Concord, July 31st - Sunrise Medical© is pleased to introduce the SPEX® Flex Cushion as the newest addition to the JAY™ Seating line. Flex cushion implements a truly adaptable and easy approach for even the hardest-to-solve cushion requirements for users with complex postures
Spex is a proven clinical seating system offering a modular approach that is adaptable in shape, angles, contours and comfort to suit many different wheelchair users.
A simple solution for a complex problem.
As its name describes, Flex is designed to meet the needs of wheelchair users who present with limited hip flexion. Considering a lack of products available that can support clients with symmetric or asymmetric limited hip flexion, and considering the negative impact that this can have on people’s posture and function, we have developed this superior, comfortable, pressure relieving, stable and highly configurable cushion able to address even the most challenging postural requirements.
"Medifab is excited to launch our patented Spex Flex technology in Canada in conjunction with our premium Spex distributor Sunrise Medical. Flex is a wheelchair cushion designed for highly asymmetric users with limited hip flexion. This technology brings enhanced pelvic and thigh positioning in a modular solution which is fast and effective." – Bruce Muscall, Business Development, Medifab
